Tusk performance scaler tire in a 1.9 size with a green compound. JConcepts built this one after the success of class 2 tires like the Landmines, using what the team learned from driving, crawling and feedback from their own crew. The 4.75 inch sizing stays, which keeps it an approved scale-based tire, but the tread layout got a full rework. A V-shaped lug sits in the center with steps running out to the sides for extra grip, and the green compound flexes and contours to the terrain. Large staggered traction bars branch off the sides and continue the V pattern. The shorter bars step in alongside the center lug, while the longer ones fill the gap and meet near the tire's centerline. The mirrored pattern alternates rows for a staggered height effect. Sidewall lugs add pinch grip and gap crawling, and a small section of rubber is relieved for flexibility. The traction bars and lugs have relieved cuts and slots on top, splitting up the flat surfaces to create more edges for light dirt, dust and debris. The sidewall lettering is highly detailed.
