The Sprinter tire from JConcepts sits between the popular Double Dees and the other pin tires in the line. It's a rear tire built to compete on loose, wet or dusty surfaces. Square, angled pins are stacked vertically so they flex and fold evenly across the tire. A stacked tread usually wears less and grips more forward, while the aligned gaps help rotation in the turns and give a snappy release to square up fast. The team focused on durability and performance with the new tread. As off-road racing moved to mid-motor and laydown transmission chassis, the team needed a new pin style, carcass and outer tread. Angled pins on the outer sidewall help release the turn and add rotation, which matters for dirt off-road and dirt oval racing. A generous radius blends the tread into the tire body, which promotes pin snap and resists tearing or separation. Horizontal traction bars connect several pins near the center of the tire.
