JConcepts dropped the Pioneer wheels for the modern 1:8th buggy class, and they debuted at the Florida Carpet Championships. They bring a hint of the past with the edge JConcepts is known for. The design was inspired by a 1989 Masami Hirosaka replica and turns that iconic look into a new one. Pop-out panels make the wheel stand out, and the home position keeps the proper offset and mounting. Fresh outer ribs run between the sectional panels, with a radial ring around the wheel nut area. The ribs link six optional screw locations that recall the adaptors used in RC's golden age. Built for show and go, for racers who want a new look with high-end performance. Titanium screws are sold separately in burnt blue (#5037-1) and stealth black (#5037-2).
