Smoothie 2 in silver compound, built for the rear of a 2.2 buggy. Some off-road days a slick is simply the fastest way around. Indoor and sometimes outdoor clay gets so tacky or dust-free that a full slick wins. Drivers have sanded, ground and hand-sculpted tires for years chasing that slick carcass. JConcepts just built one. It runs a 2.2 bead mounting diameter, so it seats right on the latest generation wheels and you feel everything through the steering. The slightly thickened, carefully profiled carcass rolls through turns, and the maximum smooth surface grips the specialty stuff like nothing else. Dirt-Tech inserts come in the box, the gray ones that have been on the scene since release, with custom sculpted features blended into the insert material. That makes it a durable option for medium to extremely high traction.
