A new pavement pounder from JConcepts, built to fit the Traxxas Rustler and Rustler 4x4. The Switchback runs a low-profile carcass for high-speed running, and it handles occasional dirt, gravel and grass too. The center tread looks like a switch blade. The paddles rotate around the center, tied together by carcass support structure. Small extrusions on each center paddle add detail to the asphalt-focused tire. The outer tread has large platform bars on both the inside and outside, with teeth that hang down the sidewall for more versatility. The low-profile carcass carves through turns and sweeping sections on parking lots, ball fields, grass and skate parks. The Shuttle wheel mounts like a traditional 1:8th off-road wheel, which gives you maximum bead mounting surface and low rotating weight. Heavy inner X-bracing and sidewall ribs keep the tire from expanding. The compound is an all-purpose medium. The pre-mounted Switchback comes with open cell inserts for versatility and dependability. It mounts to the JConcepts #3456 Shuttle wheel.
