JConcepts rolls out this 2.2-inch all-terrain scaling tire from its design department, built for class 3 crawler competition. The tread looks scale, and the tall size and profile are the first things you notice. The padded tread pattern handles the move from hard road to dirt and then to rocky, uneven ground. Once power hits, the tread spacing opens up for deep digging in dirt and mud. This tire is made for class 3 rigs that top out at 5.25-inch overall diameter. Each block has finely cut edges with a healthy radius where it meets the carcass. Small cuts on top of each block open up sling space, and the outer lug runs down the sidewall to stiffen the upper carcass and add pinch grip. The green compound flexes with the close lug arrangement, giving a grippy feel without losing the scale look. The tall overall height gives plenty of ground clearance. Internal grid ribbing helps with support.
