Plastic gears need their own grease, and RM2 built this one with JConcepts for that job. Ghost friction grease goes into plastic-to-plastic gear setups. It's a natural fit for 2WD buggy transmissions with inline gears, and for lighter 4WD buggies that have switched to plastic gears. On the track you want a smooth, quiet, free-spinning gearbox. Most RM2 gear lubes are made for metal gears, so the Ghost was designed specifically for the plastic gears in a lot of 1/10th off-road rigs. When you're servicing or building fresh, load each plastic gear or gear combo generously. Once the car is fully assembled, roll the driveline over by hand so the grease settles in and coats everything evenly. Check it after your first shakedown runs, then keep the same amount and consistency you started with.
