About this part

Ultra low range 20.5:1 steel gear set for the Ascent 18. Super duty crawl gears. They replace the stock plastic gears and give you way more crawl. Precision CNC machined from #45 steel, with a brass pinion. Hardened gears resist wear and hold up to fatigue better. Replaces the stock plastic gear set. IN THE BOX: One (1) steel drive gear (38T / 16T) One (1) steel idler gear (39T / 16T) One (1) steel output drive gear (39T) One (1) brass pinion gear (11T)

Requirements

  • Replaces the stock transmission and hardware.
  • Use a light coat of grease on the gears during install.
  • Use a gear remover to install the pinion (SDR1380).

Notes

  • Replaces RER29168 and RER29171. Also works with TRXM180N9.
  • Stock gear ratio: 13:1
  • STOCK GEARS REPLACED:
  • RER29168 plastic drive gear (37T / 18T)
  • RER29168 plastic idler gear (37T / 18T)
  • RER29171 plastic output drive gear (37T)
