CNC bearing differential housing plate for the RC8 buggy, made from CNC 6061 aluminum with a hard anodized finish. Comes with two ball bearings already installed, so it drops in and gets to work. Why hard anodized? The process is electro-chemical and hardens the aluminum until it is about 30 percent harder than stainless steel. The part soaks in an acid bath, gets hit with electrical charge, and the surface bonds with oxygen into aluminum oxide. It is basically oxidation with the brakes off.
