It works by comparing the width of the tire at the rear to the width at the front. It is accurate to within half a degree per side, and often better. RPM suggests it for any 1/10 scale sedan, buggy or truck running 2.2-inch wheels or smaller. Setting toe accurately and consistently gives you steering you can predict.
