This is a re-issue of Tamiya's 1/12 Yamaha RZV500R, last released in 2011. It's back with a newly added B5 double-sided pamphlet full of color photos of the full-size bike for painting reference, plus an updated instruction manual. THE BIKE: The RZV500R debuted at the 1983 Tokyo Motor Show with specs that matched the YZR500 road racer. It carried over the YZR's light weight and compact build. Its 500cc two-stroke, water-cooled V4 made 64hp and 230km/h, liter-class performance, and it kicked off a new era of two-stroke sportbikes.
