Roller-skating robot from Tamiya. It moves forward by opening and closing its legs in a swizzle motion, the same way real skating works. The caster limit cuts caster movement and turns sideways motion into forward motion. Steer with the roller skate rudders: push the left rudder out to turn left, and the right rudder out to turn right. Pick a clear blue body to see the mechanisms inside, or a white one you can paint. Speed: 33.3 cm/s (1.2 km/h), about 3 seconds per meter. Minimum turning radius is about 300mm. Comes with everything for snap-fit and screw-together assembly and a type 130 motor. One AA battery is required (sold separately). It can ride along rails using universal arms (sold separately). Fits: general hobby Airsoft, HO scale train, model rockets, N scale train, Pinewood Derby, plastic models
