Carbon fiber short rear shock tower for the NB48 2.0. Looks the part and rides a little different. Carbon fiber is slightly more compliant than aluminum, which helps bump handling and grip. Run front and rear carbon towers and you drop 50 grams. That lowers the center of gravity a touch and helps corner speed. At 5mm thick, it handles all but the most extreme race incidents. It's a direct replacement for the stock aluminum tower, TKR9269S. No additional parts needed. Pro tip: run a bead of super glue or tire glue around the edges to seal and bond the layers and extend the life. Durability: new racers, keep in mind carbon fiber is not as strong as stock aluminum.
