Trains running through intersecting rail lines and junctions will hit the Interlocking Tower, a new Built- & -Ready Landmark Structure. These towers run an interlocking track machine that controls train movement through signals, switches and track circuits, keeping stations and junctions safe. The machine's model board sits in the upstairs cabin and can be seen from 360 degrees. Look for the operator's desk, a wood stove, lanterns, pin-up posters and a calendar. Outside, a weathered shingled roof, a "WS No. 7" sign, an upper deck with stairs, tires, a spool of wire, a water hose, a diesel tank and barrels tell the story of a busy day.
