About this part
Skill level 4, ages 12 and up. This 1:25 scale 1968 Corvette L-88 has 124 parts and measures 6.1875 in long, 3.00 in wide, and 2.25 in tall. Build it with a removable hardtop or a simulated convertible soft top. The 427-cubic-inch L88 V-8 is detailed, and stock and street machine parts are included. Redline tires are tampo-printed. The 1968 Corvette got curvy lines inspired by Chevy's Mako Shark II dream car. The L88 big-block was rated at an estimated 500 horsepower and sat under a high-rise hood that lesser Corvettes didn't get. You can build a factory-stock 68 convertible with the L88, or a street machine with a blown and injected 427 poking through the hood, chrome side pipes, and custom wheels. Molded in white, transparent red, and clear, with chrome plated parts and soft black tires. Paint and glue required, not included.
