RPM skid plates for the Traxxas Mini Maxx and Mini XRT go after the stock design's weak point. The mounting screws are exposed to damage, and a damaged screw can be next to impossible to remove. Stripped bulkheads can follow, and that means a frustrating, time-consuming repair. RPM separates the skid ribs from the screw holes, so your screws stay protected and your bulkheads stay safe. The skid ribs are functional wear surfaces, not decoration. RPM added a third rib where stock has two, which increases durability, abrasion resistance and overall strength.
