A front bumper and skid plate for the Losi Baja Rey, built to fix a stiff factory setup. The stock skid plate was too rigid to let the bumper absorb hits. RPM moved the skid plate below the aluminum chassis plate, adding skid protection where there was none and creating a flex zone that lets the bumper travel on impact. The skid plate-to-bumper mount is reinforced, and the bumper gets its own flex zone so it can compress under heavy hits and return to shape afterward.
