Shock shaft guards for Traxxas GTR shocks, sold as a set of four. Your GTR shocks are expensive, so guard them. Rocks and debris hammer shock shafts into dents, dings and burrs. A rough shaft tears the seals, the seals leak, and the shock quits performing. These guards stop the damage at the source, keeping the shaft smooth so the seals last and you rebuild less often. The design is two pieces. Each guard replaces your stock shock spring cup, then bolts on a thin but tough shield that rises to the base of the shock body. The front shield covers more than 100 degrees of exposure. The back and sides stay open so mud can't pack inside. The guards never touch the moving parts, so there's zero friction. No extra hardware is needed for install.
