Aluminum threaded shocks for the Axial SCX24 and other mini/micro crawlers. These are friction damped, so you only partially fill them with silicone oil. The reservoir cap is machined for scale looks and does nothing functional. Threaded bodies let you dial in preload fast, and two spring rates come in the box.

You will receive

• Four (4) shocks
• Four (4) soft springs (black)
• Four (4) firm springs (silver)
• Eight (8) M1.4x8 cap head screws

Requirements

• 0.05in, 1.3mm, or 1.4mm hex wrench
• Silicone shock or diff oil. Don't fill them full. Add only enough for a heavy coating. 2000-3000cSt is a good starting weight.

• Extended eye-to-eye: ~32.5mm
• Compressed eye-to-eye: ~24mm
• Stroke: 8.5mm

Notes

• Replaces the Axial AXI31612 SCX24 shock set.
• Reservoir is cosmetic only.
• Mount with the wide flange facing out to hold the O-rings.
