About this part

The oil emulsion version of the threaded aluminum shock. These are oil damped, so they get filled with silicone oil. Machined aluminum bodies thread for quick preload changes, and the scale reservoir cap is for looks only. Three spring rates come in the kit for the Axial SCX24 and other mini/micro crawlers.

You will receive

• Four (4) shocks
• Four (4) extra firm springs (gold)
• Four (4) soft springs (black)

Requirements

• 0.05in, 1.3mm, or 1.4mm hex wrench
• Silicone oil. Fill the shock 80% full, with the shaft compressed 80%.

• Extended eye-to-eye: ~32.5mm
• Compressed eye-to-eye: ~23mm
• Stroke: 7.5mm

Notes

• Replaces the Axial AXI31612 SCX24 shock set.
• Reservoir is cosmetic only.
• Wide flange faces outward to retain the O-rings.
