About this part

Aluminum three-section telescopic damper for the Axial SCX24 and other mini/micro crawlers. Friction damped, so it only needs a coating of tacky grease. The reservoir cap is machined for scale looks but does nothing functional. Three spring rates in the box.

• Four (4) soft springs (black)
• Four (4) medium springs (gold)
• Four (4) firm springs (silver)
• Eight (8) M1.4x8 cap head screws

Requirements

• 0.05in, 1.3mm, or 1.4mm hex wrench
• Tacky grease or silicone diff lube for a heavy coating

Specifications

• Extended eye-to-eye: ~48.5mm
• Compressed eye-to-eye: ~28.5mm
• Stroke: 20mm
• Spring length: 32mm, 14 turns (0.3, 0.35, 0.4)

Notes

• Replaces the Axial AXI31612 SCX24 shock set.
• Reservoir is non-functional.
• Mount with the wide flange facing out to retain the O-rings.
