About this part

Hot Racing's rear-spec spline star drive axle for the SCX II, SCX III and TRX4. #45 hardened carbon steel with an aluminum slider, built to replace the factory plastic axles.

  • CNC machined #45 hardened carbon steel and aluminum construction
  • Replaces factory plastic drive axles
  • Hard black anodized aluminum slider
  • Silver anodized aluminum pin capture rings with rubber o-rings to stop movement
  • No CV pin setscrew needed
  • Black finish #45 steel
  • Rubber dust boot for maximum protection

  • One rear CV splined drive shaft assembly

  • Removable blue threadlocker on screws going into metal
  • Light grease for CV joints and slider splines
