Limited-edition 1/10 R/C kit of the 1978 Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo, built on the fun, easy-to-assemble TT-02 chassis. The Capri Turbo was developed in 1978 for the German Racing Championship (DRM) by West German team Zakspeed. Wind tunnel work gave it an extremely low, wide body, and it weighed just 790kg. Power came from a 1,427cc inline-4 DOHC turbo making 375hp. It won for the first time at the 11th DRM race at the Nurburgring in October 1978, then took second and a win at the first two races the next year. Adaptable TT-02 chassis, balanced shaft-driven 4WD. Battery on the left, motor on the right for excellent stability. Identical left and right suspension arms and uprights make assembly easy, and the gearboxes are easy to maintain. Two wheelbases, two ground clearance settings and two tread setups. Listed as a general hobby universal fit car part.
