The 2021 Subaru BRZ (ZD8) as a TT-02 AWD touring kit. Tamiya recreated the BRZ in light, tough polycarbonate and mounted it on its easy-to-build TT-02 platform. The first BRZ hit the road in 2012 as Subaru's first rear-wheel-drive sports car, and the second generation arrived in April 2021. The BRZ keeps a low center of gravity and a 2.4 liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder boxer engine making 235hp. Subaru built it on the Global Platform for rigidity and crash safety, and added EyeSight driver assistance. TT-02 CHASSIS: Shaft-driven 4WD with the battery on the left and motor on the right for stability. Identical suspension arms and uprights for easy assembly. Easy-to-service gearboxes. Two wheelbases and two ground clearance settings.
